The Delhi Police has traced a three-year-old girl, within a few hours, after she had gone missing from outer Delhi’s Sanjay Colony on Thursday .
According to a police official, after receiving the complaint on Thursday afternoon, seven police teams were formed to trace the girl.
“The photograph of the missing girl was immediately shared on the WhatsApp groups of the police station under the outer North district. Quick Response Team and emergency response vehicle was also directed accordingly,” said the police official.
“Teams were sent to Badli Metro station, Mukarba chowk, nearby parks, vacant lands, open drains, temple, Masjids, Gurudwaras. However, with the help of a neighbour, police managed to identify and trace the girl from the Samaypur Chowk where the minor was spotted near a restaurant,” said the police official adding that the girl was later handed over to her family.
