Moderate weather to remain in next few days

The wind direction is north-easterly and clear sky weather conditions have made the conditions cold and would prevail for the next 4-5 days and later weather conditions would change after a week, said weatherman on Tuesday.

Weatherman said that the conditions are conducive for withdrawal of monsoon and with 2-3 days withdrawal might start. Systems inducing rainfall have faded away and except few places thundery activities and rainfall have not been witnessed on Tuesday.

Formation of anti-cyclonic circulation have made the changes.

The moisture incursion has been reduced due to which the rainfall activities have reduced.

The state capital would record day and night 31 and 21 degree Celsius on Wednesday. The temperatures are likely to dip and made weather conditions colder. 

In the next 24 hours weather conditons are likely to witness partial cloudy and thundery activities would prevail in the state capital according to the forecast.

Few regions of Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal, Hoshangabad witnessed light rainfall in the past 24 hours. Significant dip in the temperatures was recorded in Chambal division.

The highest day temperature was recorded at 35 degree Celsius in Narsinghpur and lowest night temperature at 16 degree Celsius in Betul.

Khirkia recorded 5 cm of rainfall, Nepanagar, Ashta, Dewas each recorded 2 cm of rainfall and Seoni and Sehore each recorded 1 cm of

rainfall. The temperatures in Bhopal and Ujjain divisions were recorded above normal temperatures while remaining divisions recorded normal temperatures on Tuesday. Significant change in the temperatures is likely to witness in the next 2-3 days.
