Monsoon session of the Chhattisgarh state assembly will be held from July 12 to 19 as per a notification issued on Tuesday.
The Assembly secretary in the notification stated that the six-day session will commence at 11.00 am on July 12.
There will be weekend recess on July 13 and 14. The session will then continue from July 15 to July 19.
It will be the second sitting of the 5th state assembly.
As per political sources, the government is likely to introduce some important bills and is expected to table the supplementary budget.
Buoyed by its emphatic win in the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition BJP is likely to attack the government on various issues, which has cropped up post and pre- election period.
