All India Police Water Sports competition would be hosted by Madhya Pradesh Police; event would be held from December 12-16, 2019 at Upper Lake of the State Capital.
Separate committees have been constituted to organize the arrangements related to the All India Police Water Sports Competition.
Special Director General of Police of SAF Vijay Yadav gave necessary guidelines on Thursday at the meeting of the in-charge of the committees. Renowned players associated with police forces and central police organizations of different states of the country will participate.
In the meeting held in the auditorium of the State Police Headquarters Special DG Yadav directed that all preparations of the All India Police Water Sports Competition should be finalized keeping in mind the criteria and standards of the international sports competition.
He said that arrangements for the players and officials participating in the competition should be the best and the details of competition should be widely publicised so that sports lovers and sportspersons of the state could also enjoy this national level competition.
For conducting the competition successful various committees have been set up under the chairmanship of Additional Director General of Police and other senior officers are shouldered with the responsibility.
In the All India Police Water Sports Competition, players would wrestle to beat the best in canoeing, kayaking and rowing sports competitions. Madhya Pradesh Police has hosted the event in the year 2003, 2007, 2013 and 2017 successfully.
