After receiving a heroic welcome on his arrival in the city, newly appointed MP from Khunti, Arjun Munda went to Bistupur to meet State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Saryu Roy at his residence. BJP party activities raised slogans in his favour and garlanded when he arrived.

Leaders of district BJP party along with hundreds of women activists from the party garlanded him and congratulated him for his success. Munda also received warm welcome at places like Kapali, Pardih, situated on the outskirts of the city. On every corner activists were seen standing to express their gratitude.

Munda said that the overwhelming performance in the Lok Sabha elections led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah has swept the country. He said that Modi is a mass leader and he played key role in motivating the voters in party’s favour.

“ I promise to fulfill my duties with honesty. The voters have given their verdict against Congress Party and other divisive policies of opposition parties. People have voted in favour of development schemes of the Prime Minister Modi and accepted them, and that the results proved it,” he said .

Thanking party workers for according grand welcome, Munda said that he is a dedicated party worker and will continue to work in spreading party’s vision and mission in the country.

 “From the very first day we were confident of our party's win and we felt relieved to see our candidates heading towards an easy win. We are happy that the party has regained power. Every party worker had toiled and they deserve to be lauded. Modi’s charismatic personality and his vision of development too favoured our party, voters has shown faith in his leadership,” said another activist.
