Nabarangpur Class V student dies of anaemia

A Class-V student, Basanti Jani, a resident of Handiguda, under the Tentulikhunti police limits died on Wednesday.

Source said that recently Jani had complaint of illness to the teachers while was in school and was rushed to the Papadahandi Community Health Centre (CHC), Dolaiguda. On August 17, she was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital as her conditions worsened.

On Monday, Dr Chanmaya Bala, who was treating her, said that she was suffering from anaemia and referred her to the Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College, Koraput. While undergoing treatment there, she died on Wednesday.
