Two days after his bail plea was turned down by the CBI Court here, Fine India chit fund managing director and actor Nasser Khan on Saturday moved the Bhubaneswar Sessions Court seeking bail again.
After his bail plea had been rejected by the CBI Court on Thursday, Nasser was sent to jail till February 27.
Fine India, which had several branches across the country, was allegedly involved in duping crores of rupees by accepting public deposits. The CBI had found evidence that the chit fund scam money was used to produce movie ‘Shadow’ by the visually challenged actor.
