The Vigilance police on Tuesday caught North Eastern Electricity Supply Company (Nesco), Baleswar’s Mathasahi section Junior Manager Kumar Sthitapragyna Mohanty red-handed while he was demanding and accepting illegal gratification of Rs 5,000
He was caught taking the bribe at Mendhasal, Baleswar from complainant Jitendra Kumar Sahu of Makalpur village in order to take steps for replacement of defective digital electric meter. His residential house at Nuasahi, Balia in Baleswar district was searched. He was arrested and forwarded to court.
