Never-dying spirit must for success: UPSC topper

Sincere effort and perseverance leads one to success”, said Sumit Kumar 53rd Rank holder in 2018 UPSC Civil Services Exams. In his message to the young generation, Sumit suggested that one must have a never-dying spirit for achieving success.

Sumit today visited his alma mater DPS Bokaro to express his gratitude to the school, which groomed him to achieve the coveted rank in one of the most elite services of the nation.

Sumit, who is a pass out from the school in 2009 batch  while talking to the alma mater, got nostalgic and said, “DPS, Bokaro is one of the best schools of the country.” He said that the school not only catered him with academic excellence but also molded his personality and made him stronger.

The teachers of DPS Bokaro have always been a guiding factor and they played a vital role in shaping the students for future, said Sumit who is currently taking training at Lal Bahadur Shastri Academy, Mussoorie.

After meeting Sumit at school today, Principal DPS Bokaro A. S. Gangwar expressed his happiness on the achievement of the student of DPS Bokaro.

He commended his performance and said, "These results reflect the glory that brings National pride.”
