The newly appointed Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey will take oath of office and secrecy on July 29.
Chief Secretary Sunil Kujur on Friday took stock of the preparations made for the oath taking ceremony.
According to official sources the ceremony will be held on July 29 evening at Darbar Hall of the Raj Bhawan.
Kujur instructed the concerned officials to complete the preparations within the time and also gave directives in this regard.
He instructed the officials of police department to look over security and parking. Municipal Corporation officials were asked to maintain cleanliness.
Officials of district administration were instructed for making arrangements for distinguished guests arriving from all over the country.
Additional chief secretaries, C.K. Khetan and Amitabh Jain, special DG, Sanjay Pillai, principal secretary, law Ravishankar Sharma, health secretary Niharika Barik, secretary general, administration Rita Shandilya, secretary to governor Surendra Jaiswal, inspector general of police ( Raipur range) Anand Chabra, district collector, Raipur S. Bharatidasan, senior superintendent of police Arif Sheikh were present in the meeting.
