The MD stoically refuted the charges of irregularities in the tender process for the installation of ERP. He said that the work of the ERP has been awarded strictly on the basis of Quality and Cost Based System (QCBS) provided in the Uttarakhand procurement rule. On damage of the machinery at Chilla power project the MD said that damage occurred due to the excessive flooding from the tail-race side.
The damage was very large and most of the companies were asking for a time period of two years but the corporation awarded the restoration work to the BHEL which completed the work in record time.
