No respite from heat wave

There was no respite from the heat wave on Friday, which is sweeping the State.

Ten places on the day recorded temperatures above 40 degree Celsius.

Titilagarh continued to be the hottest with 44.2 degree Celsius.

 It was followed by Sambalpur ar 43.9 degree, Hirakhud 43.8 degree, Talcher 43.7 degree, Jharsuguda 43.2 and Sonepur 43.2 degree, Balangir 42.7 degree Bhawanipatna 41.5 degree, Malkangiri 41 and Sundargarh 40. degree.

Bhubaneswar recorded a temperature of 37.7 degree and Cuttack 37.2 degree
