External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday said that there was no question of talks with Pakistan over any issue till it stopped cross-border terrorism.
“Terror and talks cannot go together,” she said, stressing that it was the policy of the country that till Pakistan stopped cross-border terrorism, there would be no talks.
Replying to a specific question whether delegates from Pakistan would be invited for the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and their assistance would be taken in development of the country, Swaraj told reporters here on Wednesday that such things only happened when there was a cordial relationship with a country.
“When we don’t talk to each other how is it possible to invite them here for any function?” she asked.
