Non-interlocking work at Jabalpur railway station of west central railway has completed work four days before schedule which is an achievement towards making Jabalpur station as magnificent and developing capacity of high speed trains.
With the completion of the work in future the railway station would help in better time management of trains.
The technical officials, employees and officials of railways have claimed the completion of work as a great feat achieved by the team work. Along with the officials of west central railway headquarters the work was monitored by railway board officials.
Soon after the non-interlocking work was completed officials of division and zone visited ‘Route Relay’ center and congratulated the team deployed in the work and completed before scheduled duration.
On the last day of the work on August 23 Mega Block was from 10 am to 6 pm which was around 8 hours was delayed by an hour due to technical reasons. The first train which was scheduled to leave was Gondwana Express at 6 pm departed at 7 pm with a delay of 1 hour.
After the non-interlocking work on August 24 train no. 51189 Allahbad –Itarsi Passenger, train no. 11273/74 Itarsi –Katni passenger, train no. 11266 Jabalpur-Ambikapur , train no. 12192 Shridham Express, train no. 22192 Overnite Express, train no. 22189 Jabalpur- Rewa Intercity and train no. 11651 Jabalpur-Singrauli Intercity, train no. 51701 Jabalpur-Rewa shuttle, train no. 51708 Jabalpur- Nainpur would leave Jabalpur railway station on time.
