One booked for rape, accused absconding

Piplani police has booked a miscreant for keeping a 16-year-old girl in captivity, sexually assault and blackmail using video clips and photographs. The alleged incident had taken place at a hotel in Ayodhya bypass area. The victim was raped when she had gone with her brother’s friend to Bhojpur.

Police said that the victim is a resident of Piplani area and is a class 9 student. She was sexually assaulted by the accused Nasir Khan who is a friend of victim’s brother. Nasir captured her photographs and video and used to blackmail her.

The victim frustrated from the harassment by the accused lodged a complaint with the Piplani police. Based on the complaint, police registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and sections of POCSO Act. Police have started search for accused.

The victim in her complaint stated that the accused used to visit the house frequently as he was her brother’s friend. In the month of August this year he accompanied her to Bhojpur and while on their way back he took her to a hotel in Ayodhya bypass and sexually assaulted her.

He took photographs and video and threatened her of life and left the victim. Few days ago the accused took her to a secluded place and sexually assaulted the victim and later pressurized her to meet him which she refused and later reported the incident to her mother. 

Police have raided the house of the accused and a few places but the accused managed to escape and is still absconding.
