More than a month after a college girl being stripped by three youths at the Talasari sea beach in Baleswar district, police on Tuesday arrested another accused in connection with the case.
Daitari Changei was nabbed following several raids by a police team. Earlier, another youth had been arrested by the Talasari Marine police after the incident came to the fore on August 11.
The police have launched a manhunt to nab the third accused in the case.
Notably, the two arrested persons along with another youth had stripped the girl and thrashed her male friend at the Talasari beach.
They also filmed the whole scene and uploaded a video clip on social media sites.
After the video went viral, local Mahamaya Self-Help Group filed a case with the Talasari Marine police demanding immediate action against the accused persons.
