Urban Administration Minister Dr Shivkumar Daharia attended a programme organized by transgender community in the residential premise built under BSUP Scheme in Tatibandh on Thursday.
In his address to the programme, Dr Daharia said that transgender community is a part of our society and they have every right to live a respectable life.
It is our responsibility to include transgenders into the mainstream, he said. It is noteworthy that Transgender Community had organized the thanksgiving programme for allotment of residential flats. On the occasion, Mayor, Raipur Municipal Corporation Pramod Dubey, Corporators, RMC Commissioner . Rajat Bansal, people of transgender community and residents of the locality were also present.
