Law-Legal Affairs and Public Relations Minister PC Sharma has strongly condemned the rape and murder of a minor girl of Mandwa locality of Nehru Nagar, Bhopal.
He said that the culprits will not be spared in any condition for committing a crime against a minor.
They will get stern punishment. Sharma has given strict instructions to the police to take immediate stern action in such a case. Strict action should promptly be taken against policemen for callousness. Action should be taken promptly to get the rapists punished with capital punishment by the fast track court, so that such cases can be fully curbed. Former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh, Public Relations Minister Sharma and Minority Welfare Minister Arif Aqueel took part in the last rites of the minor and bid final farewell to her by shouldering the pyre.
A large number of local residents including Corporator Monu Saxena and dignitaries were present in the last rites.
