A Vigilance team of Bhubaneswar caught Pipili block Gram Rojgar Sevak GRS) Laxmipriya Sahu while she was taking a bribe of Rs 2000 from one Dipu Swain of Baragarda village on Tuesday.
The Vigilance sleuths seized the bribe amount from her procession.
On being alerted by the complaint Swain, the anti-corruption wing sleuths reached Kulasikha Patna village under the same block and recovered chemical-coated currency notes when she was inher house.A case has been registered against the GRS under anti-corruption law and further investigations are on.As per charges, the GRS demanded the illegal gratification from Swain for processing his filed for release of Rs 20,000 for constructing a toilet.
