Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address two election meetings, named Vijay Sankalp Rally by the Bharatiya Janata Party, in Aligarh and Moradabad on Sunday.
Polling will be held in Aligarh in the second phase and in Moradabad in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.
This will be the Prime Minister’s third visit to Uttar Pradesh to address poll meetings. He addressed the first election rally in Meerut on March 28 and then in Saharanpur and Bijnor on April 5.
The Prime Minister’s visit to the state also coincides with the 128th birth anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and BJP state president Mahendra Nath Pandey will join the Prime Minister in both meetings.
BJP state general secretary and west UP in-charge Vijay Bahadur Pathak said in Lucknow on Saturday that the Prime Minister would address the first election rally in Aligarh around 2 pm and then go to Moradabad to address a rally around 4:30 pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, hectic preparations were being made at both Aligarh and Moradabad by BJP leaders and workers for attracting a huge turnout at the Prime Minister’s rally.
