Third consecutive time elected as MP of Dhanbad parliamentary constituency, PN Singh, on Friday, received a warm welcome at his residence. Singh registered a thumping victory and won the poll battle by 4,86,194 votes by defeating Congress candidate Kriti Azad. There were 20 candidates in the poll fray and Singh got 8,27,234 votes while Azad got 3,41,040 votes.

The party members marked a huge victory procession at different areas across the Constituency, but Singh did not take a part in any procession or rally. He preferred to stay at his residence and welcomed the guests who rushed there to greet Singh on his massive victory.

The members celebrated victory by dancing and offering sweets and congratulated each other. Amidst loud ‘Jai Shree Ram’ cheers thousands of BJP’s supporters rushed out at his residence with dhol and nagaras, buzzed in a celebratory mood, they overjoyed over the party’s brilliant performance.

Enthusiastic party cadres burst crackers too to celebrate their happiness and distributed ‘ladoos’. Enthusiastic bikers gave a ‘thumbs-up’ and rode away shouting “Modi-Modi” and ‘Jai Shree Ram’ which reverberated in the air.

After accepting the greeting Singh said people of Dhanbad constituency love him. “I congratulate the people of this country and especially people of Jharkhand as well as of Dhanbad constituency for keeping trust on Modi Government. Now keeping the promises which I was made with my people during the campaign would be in my priorities,” he said.
