Misrod police have booked a police constable for sexually assaulting a 26-year-old Vidisha based woman for the past one year. Both the victim and accused are resident of Vidisha.

According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Sanjeev Raghuvanshi for the past one year and during the period he had also married her and continued to sexually exploit her but he married another woman few months ago.

Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC.

The victim came into contact with the accused around three year ago when the two used to visit Bhopal daily for work.

The victim used to work at a mall. The accused lured her of marriage. The two developed relationship and later they married but accused married another woman and when the victim opposed to the second marriage he started to harass the victim mentally and physically.

Meanwhile, a 19-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by her father for the past one year and was blackmailed by her cousin using her indecent video at Industrial Area under Ashoka Garden police station area; police have registered case after girl lodged complaint.

The victim was sexually assaulted by her father on September 22, 2018 at her house when she was alone.

 The father continued to sexually exploit her by threatening her of life.

Apart from the atrocity faced by the victim her cousin used to molest her frequently and captured video while she was taking bath and using the video he was pressuring her to marry her.

The victim lodged complaint with the Ashoka Garden police against the two accused who went absconding and are still at large.
