The Fatehgarh police on Monday launched a special awareness drive here on the new rules under the amended Motor Vehicles Act.
An awareness rally was also taken out from the Beat House under the leadership of Fatehgarh police station IIC Niranjan Kishore Dhir. He said the awareness drive would be undertaken in every area of Bhapur block in coming days.
The commuters were sensitised against drunken driving, use of mobile phones during driving, driving on wrong side of road, triple riding and non-usage of helmets and seat belts.
