Khajuri police have nabbed a Tikamgarh based youth for stalking and molesting a 28-year-old woman trainee DSP at PRTI Bhori on Sunday; accused wanted to meet the victim and reached PTRI where he was nabbed.

Police personnel of FRV Dial 100 nabbed a youth identified as Sandeep Richaria of Tikamgarh who reached PTRI, Bhauri on Sunday and messaged victim that he wanted to meet her.

The victim who is a trainee DSP informed Dial 100 police after which the accused was nabbed near the gate of PTRI and was taken to the Khajuri police station for further investigation. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section  354 (D) (1) (1) of the IPC.

Investigating Officer SHO Khajuri Upendra Bhati said that complainant Shivali Chaturvedi lodged complaint against the accused Sandeep that he used to stalk and molest her and later Sandeep was nabbed. She had tried to stop the accused but failed and accused continued with his acts of nuisances.

The victim hails from Jatara Tikarmarh got selected in the year 2017 MPPSC and undergoing training as DSP at Police Training Research Institute (PTRI) Bhori. The accused who is presently posted as government teacher in Sonbhadra is acquainted with her since 2011 as they studied in the same college and later went to the same coaching institute for competitive exam preparations.

After the victim got selected she stopped communication with the accused and for the past few days the frustrated accused started sending her obscene messages and calling from different mobile numbers.
