Police officials sent abroad for training share experience

For the first time, officers of State Police Services (SPS) are also being sent for training abroad. This will increase the skill up gradation of the police force.

The trainee officers to share their experiences and details of the basics of modern policing learned during the training with other police officers. Seniority should reflect in your work and this training will help in understanding policing in the national and international context, said Principal Secretary Home SN Mishra at the inaugural session of mid-career training program of the State Police Service officers at RCVP Naronha Administration and Management Academy on Monday.

Mishra was Special Guest of the inaugural session of first mid-career training program of the State Police Service officers who have completed 12 years of service. The highlight of the training is exposure of foreign countries policing system along with three other training in the country. 

Special DG of Police Sanjay Rana told the trainee officers to always keep the trend of learning alive and the feeling of content in terms of knowledge and information should never enter head. The internet has made world a closer and compact place.

Victim oriented policing is now being done in place of accused oriented policing in the world and we also need to adopt similar modern policing. This training program has been made keeping all these things in mind.

In the first phase of training, about 30 police officers of the State Police Service, who have completed twelve years of service, are participating in it.
