Police to obtain CCTV footages in class 3 student death case

The investigation in death of eight year old girl class 3 student of Delhi Public School (DPS) has been hit by technical issues as police are yet to obtain CCTV footages and those obtained are with technical glitches; school management is under question after death of girl under suspicious circumstances on Saturday.

The police are yet to procure the CCTV footage of the school bus in which the deceased was dropped back home and on Saturday afternoon.

At the time of the incident the girl Anusha alighted off the school and approached her mother waiting to pick her for home, she came to her mother and while her mother took her bag Anusha fell and went unconscious.

The deceased’s father Avendra Bartaria works as a manager with CRIPS. The deceased was student class 3 of DPS, Ratibad and a resident of Awadhpuri.

The police have asked for footage inside the bus for checking any incident which might have occurred with her after she entered the bus and later left at her destined stop.

CSP Govindpura Narendra Rathore said that the school management has provided the CCTV footage of the school premises but the CCTV footage of the bus is yet not provided.

The autopsy report is awaited which will details of the death and help in determining the death behind the death. Anything happened with the girl could not be ascertained as the details are under investigation, he added.

The bus was equipped with CCTV footage and footage has to be investigated.
