Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday conveyed his gratitude to voters of Odisha for recognising the BJP as a large political force by electing eight of its candidates to Parliament and 23 to the State Assembly.
He also conveyed his greetings to BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik for the poll verdict in his favour to make him the Chief Minister for a fifth consecutive time.
Pradhan said Odisha people have reposed more trust on Prime Minister Narendra Modi through elections this time by sending eight BJP leaders to Parliament. About one crore State voters have supported the BJP,” he said.
He expressed hopes that both the Union Government and the State Government would make Odisha a developed State.
