A seminar-cum-workshop on ‘Futuristic Classroom’ was today organised by DPS, Ranchi in collaboration with Juana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Microsoft on Saturday. More than 50 Principals of various schools of Jharkhand participated in the workshop. The seminar assisted the educators to adapt and adopt digital technologies, methodologies mindsets and embrace technology.
In this digital and informative age, where technology is so much involved in our lives, we need to transform our education world with technological advancements. Technology is not only about having laptops, iPads or expensive gadgets; it is about the learning process. Digital learning is more than just providing students with a laptop. It
requires a combination of technology, digital content and instruction.
The workshop emphasised in helping the schools to learn the use of digital tools in the field of education and enabling them to integrate technology in their School.
It would further enable the schools to help students learn better through increasing their engagement in educational activities and to provide professional learning opportunities for teachers as well. As a whole the seminar gave an insight to facilitate us to transform our classrooms and schools with the required technological advancements.
Swati Ganguly, Director of Juana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and her team took the audience on a tour of Microsoft School Program, Adobe Digital Disha, KARO SAMBHAV e-Waste Management. Ashish Agarwal , Director of Pitambar Group briefed the gathering about their wonderful tech journey. Mayuri Dutt, National Co-Convener of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan also spoke about the need of technological advancements in the education sector. Juana Technologies Pvt. Ltd. “a leading Ed-Tech company” encouraged all the school Principals to start the journey of Digital Transformation with Microsoft Aspire School Programme.
Principal Dr Ram Singh welcomed the dignitaries and the fellow Principals. He gave his insights about how this generation has evolved through the technological growth over the years. He was glad that the schools came forward to attend the innovative and enriching workshop.
