The prize distribution ceremony of the competitions was organised during the Environment Awareness Week at BHEL. It was held the other day at IFX Conference Hall BHEL Bhopal.
A total of 9 competitions were organised during Environment Awareness Week including interesting competitions like slogan, poster making, poetry writing, waste-to-wealth model making, technical paper, picture brainstorming, presentations, photography and home garden. Employees, their dependents and trainees and other workers and their dependents participated extensively in these competitions.
A total of 44 awardees from different categories were awarded in these competitions. The Chief guest of the program, DK Thakur Executive Director and
Distinguished Guest M Isadore, General Manager (Human Resources), BHEL Bhopal highlighted the importance of environmental conservation by promoting the program and encouraging the winners of the competitions organized by distributing prizes. They also urged the gathering to make the campaign successful by taking part in the ongoing ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’ under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
After the award distribution ceremony, a meeting of the Central Security Committee was held under the chairmanship of DK Thakur, Executive Director. In the programme, all the general managers of BHEL Bhopal, all the heads of departments and all the members of the Central Security Committee of the Union registered their dignified presence. Additional General Manager (Health, Safety and Environmental Engineering), Heeralal Bharani, presented the moderation and vote of thanks.
Meanwhile, in a simple programme held at 3rd Floor Administrative Building DK Thakur, Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal bade farewell to HK Nigam, General Manager (EM); along with 22 other employees retiring from the organization on attaining the age of superannuation. On this occasion all general managers and other senior officials were present. Thakur in his address extended his best wishes to all the employees for a happy retired life.
