Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey said finally truth has prevailed after apex court gave clean chit to Modi government in Rafale case.
The Surpeme Court on Thursday has closed a contempt case filed against Rahul Gandhi after he “wrongly linked” Rafale case order to his ‘Chowkidar Chor hai’ jibe against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during Lok Sabha elections.
The apex court had accepted an unconditional apology offered by the Congress leader in May and warned him to be ‘more careful’ about future remarks, she said.
Pandey said now it is proven that the Congress can come up with massive lies to mislead people. Accepting the crime, Congress party and its former president should formally apologize to the country, the BJP leader said
She alleged that only Congress can indulge in such an act where country’s internal security and international image can be put at stake.
The entire Congress leadership was repeating the same phrase across the country and this should be condemned in strongest words, she added.
The BJP leader claimed Prime Minister has been following a policy of development of all with togetherness, and totally dedicated himself for nation building. She said now time has come for Congress to indulge in value based politics otherwise, it will be totally eliminated.
