In view of heavy rains that have caused a flood-like situation in Bargarh district, the authorities declared holiday for all the educational institutions on Wednesday.
The district Collector issued an order in this regard to all schools and colleges. A decision on further closure of the educational institutions would be taken after reviewing the situation.
According to reports, the roads and houses in the district are inundated by rainwater, totally disrupting normal life.
The communications have been badly hit across the district due to the heavy rains in the past two days.
