BJP national vice president and former chief minister Raman Singh said, “We are holding meeting to discuss the preparation for counting of votes at each assembly constituencies.”
He was interacting with media ahead of a meeting of the party’s Lok Sabha in-charges at BJP divisional office, Ekatma Parisar, Raipur on Saturday.
“All the preparations have been made but we are holding the last round of talks,” he added. After formation of a BJP-led government at the Centre, most the leaders and party workers would go to New Delhi, he said.
On change of guard in the party’s state unit after election, he said the organisational election process would commence from the lower-level to the national level, accordingly, the new BJP chief would be elected.
It would take time, he added.
On parleys of leaders of the opposition parties for a post-poll alliance, he said, “Let them talk to each other and shake hands. They should continue to come closer as the BJP will form the government at the Centre.”
He claimed that the BJP is forming the government at the Centre as it would get most number of seats.
He said the party’s seat tally would be equal to what it got in 2014 Lok Sabha Polls.
