The director National health Mission (NHM), Dr Anjali Nautiyal reviewed the progress of nutritional rehabilitation centres of Pauri, Tehri, Dehradun, Udham Singh Nagar and Haridwar districts on Thursday.
Dr Nautiyal said that in the meeting, the quality of service and treatment given at the Sick New Borne Care Units and nutritional rehabilitation centres was reviewed. She informed that the strategy to reduce the child mortality was also discussed in the meeting.
Dr Nautiyal informed that during April to July 2019, 1151 new born were given special treatment. The meeting was attended by medical superintendents of nutritional rehabilitation centres and child specialists.
The union ministry of health and family welfare had sent an official of (UNICEF) as its representative in the meeting.
