A 63-year-old man died in a road accident late on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Sanjeev Prajapati, a resident of Sayyed Mohalla, Chakrata Road.
According to the information provided by Cantt police, late on Wednesday night, they received information that a motorcycle rider had lost balance at Yamuna Colony tri-junction, resulting in collision with the divider. The motorcycle rider Sanjeev got seriously injured in the accident and was taken to Doon Hospital from where he was referred to a private hospital.
He later succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased used to do a private job at Premnagar. Police are investigating about the cause of death.
