Rituraj bags gold at shooting competition

Player of Madhya Pradesh State International Shooting Academy Rituraj Bundela has showcased a brilliant performance at  and bagged a gold medal.

The 12th Sardar Sajjan Singh Sethi Memorial Master Competition  that was being played at Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy concluded here on Friday. ADG State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) Adarsh ??Katiyar felicitated the winners during the velidictory ceremony. Academy player Rituraj Singh Bundela brought glory to Madhya Pradesh by winning a gold medal in the Skeet Junior Men's Event played today under Master Competition.  This is the first time any academy player has won a gold medal in the national tournament's skeet event. In the second place, Abhay Singh Sikon of Punjab and Bhavtej Singh Gill of Punjab were in third place. In the final event of the Skeet Event Senior Men's, Angadvir Singh Bajwa of Punjab won the gold medal, Anantjit Singh Naruka of Rajasthan won the silver and Uttar Pradesh player Miraj Khan won the bronze.

Similarly, in Senior and Junior Women's Skeet events, Ghanimat Sikon of Punjab earned one gold each, Darshana Rathore of Rajasthan earned one silver each. In the senior women's event of Skeet, Jahra Mafdal of Tamil Nadu and Kritika Shaktawat of Rajasthan won one bronze medal each in junior women's event.

ADG State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB), Chief Guest Adarsh ??Katiyar honored the medal winning players by wearing the medal. Addressing the closing programme, ADG Adarsh ??Katiyar said that after many years he had the opportunity to come to Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy and was happy that sportspersons are being provided world class sports facilities, it is a pride for Madhya Pradesh.

He congratulated and congratulated the medal winning players. On this occasion, Assistant Director Uma Patel, K.K. Khare, Pradeep Rawat and Shipra Srivastava and the Academy's Technical Advisor and Chief Instructor Mansher Singh, Chief Referee Amar Jung, Co-ordinator Sanjay Singh Tanodia, Shotgun Instructor Hemraj Rana, Assistant Instructor Indrajit Sikdar were present.
