Minister for Public Works Department (PWD) Sajjan Singh Verma gave instructions to complete works of approach roads of religious places with priority. He told that repair of Dudheshwar Mahadev Mandir should be done immediately. Verma was reviewing the progress of construction works in Jhabua on Monday.
The former MP, Kantilal Bhuria, MLA Valsingh Maida and Engineer In-Chief RK Mehra were present on the occasion.
Minister Verma gave instructions to complete the construction works with quality under the stipulated time. He said that approach roads of small villages should be asphalted. Works of four lane construction of national highways should be carried out at the earliest by holding discussions with the concerned officers. Besides, while giving immediate approval for Devjhiri-Jhabua road connecting Jhabua District Headquarters, Verma said that work should be started within 7 days. He also gave instructions to complete boundary wall construction of Eklavya Model School before August 15.
During visit of Jhabua, Minister Verma inaugurated Government Girls Pre-Matric Hostel Building in Pitol village. He also distributed free cycles to the students and planted sapling in the hostel campus. MLA Veer Singh Bhuria and President Jila Panchayat Shanti Damor were also present on the occasion.
