Crime branch Bhopal police have nabbed a 42-year-old man wanted in more than six cities including state capital; the accused was carrying a reward of Rs 10,000 and was hiding in Ishwar Nagar in the state capital.
Police said that the accused identified as Pahad Singh of Gwalior duped several people in the name of providing good money for renting their vehicles. He had also duped several victims by luring of different things as per the need of the victim.
To evade arrest accused used to deal in property business and travel agency. He has been booked by Gwalior, Raisen, Sagar, Bhopal police for fraud and criminal breach of trust.
In the state capital accused was booked for fraud by Shahpura and Kolar police.
Police said that for the past one and a half year several places were raided but the accused managed to escape but on Monday acting on a tip off regarding the accused at Shahpura area a team was rushed and nabbed the accused.
During the investigation police found that the accused used to lure the victims regarding renting their vehicles and would provide around Rs 25000 to Rs 30000 per month and used to provide money for the first few months and later escape with the vehicles after the victim would assure that the vehicle would earn money.
More details would be revealed by the accused in the further investigation as the accused would be quizzed regarding the fraud.
