The Sobhaniya Andolan donated Rs 50,000 for repair and renovation of Utkalmani Pnadit Gopabandhu Das’ house at Suando under Satyabadi block in Puri district which has been damaged in Cyclone Fani.
Sobhaniya Andolan senior functionary Dr Arundhati Devi handed over a cheque of the amount to Gopahandhu’s grandson Rabindra Nath Das.
Among others, Andolon lifetime member Manorama Devi and youth social workers Upendra Biswal and Mahendra Nath Das were present. Electricity was yet to be restored in the Utkalmani’s village.
