SBI donates 19K mosquito nets for Fani victims

The State Bank of India (SBI) with its subsidiaries SBI Life and SBI General has donated 19,000 mosquito nets for distribution to the residents of Cyclone Fani-affected Puri district under its Corporate Social responsibility activity.

The distribution of mosquito nets kick started at Puri in the presence of SBI Circle DGM and CDO ST Lama, SBI Life Regional Manager Bikash Aggarwal and SBI General Regional Head Ritesh Pattnaik, SBI Puri Regional Manager S Mallick and Bhubaneswar Circle AGM PR and CSB SN Jena.

The distribution took place in 32 centers in Puri Municipality and will shortly extend to other centers in the district soon under the supervision of the CDMO.

The activity has been undertaken as part of the commitment made by SBI MD Praveen Gupta to the local administration in the presence of circle CGM Praveena Kala during his visit to Puri on June 5 to oversee the Fani fallout.
