SBI ladies club organises  picnic tour for poor children

SBI Ladies Club, as part of its monthly CSR activity organised a picnic tour for poor children to Sairsapata, Bhopal, a tourist destination. These children aged between 3 to 17 years are being trained by Sahara Saksharta Educational and Social Welfare Society, an NGO at Bhopal. Sahara Saksharta Educational and Social Welfare Society is trying to make these children educated by attracting them through sports.

For approximately 40 such children, SBI Ladies Club organised a picnic in Sairasapata, Bhopal. It is noteworthy that even after being poor, these children are interested in arts such as music and acting. These children are being taught by the institution in the Government Secondary School, Board Office Colony, Bhopal. In this event Venus Arora, President of SBI Ladies Club also distributed nutritious food to the children.

Addressing the children and the office bearers of Sahara Saksharta Education Society and SBI Ladies Club on the occasion, Ladies Club President Venus Arora said that CSR activities of State Bank Ladies Club touch the lives of many poor and downtrodden people. The CSR activities of the club mainly focus on education, health, environmental protection and helping the poor and deprived.

Appreciating the efforts being made by the institution to make these children literate, Arora expressed the belief that by getting the primary education, these children will be able to lead a more respectable profession in the future.

In this programme,  Vandana Saxena, Vice President of SBI Ladies Club, Deeksha Bansal, Secretary, other officials and officials of Sahara SakshartaEducational and Social Welfare Society were also present.
