The selfie-bug seems to have bitten Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath too.
The UP Information Directorate released a picture of the chief minister taking his first selfie during his recent visit to Kanpur and it went viral on Thursday.
Sources said that Yogi Adityanath reached Kanpur for Namami Gange Project and took a selfie to remember the occasion.
This was Yogi’s first selfie taken from a smartphone and was later released by the Information department.
The selfie shows the chief minister reviewing the preparation for the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Kanpur.
The prime minister is scheduled to visit Kanpur on December 14 to monitor the implementation of Namami Gange project along with the chief minister.
