The State Government is going to organise Shram Shakti Abhiyan across the State from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay's birth anniversary on September 25 to Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. The main objective of the campaign is to register millions of workers in the unorganised sector so that they can benefit from the Central and State schemes made for them. Describing this as a challenging task, the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal today said, “We have to connect the laborers from villages and cities to remote inaccessible places like Saryu in Latehar and Pesharar in Lohardaga. Emphasising the publicity for this, he said that the intention of the government is to make every worker of the unorganised sector aware and get their rights.
For this purpose, in a meeting with all district and block coordinators in the auditorium of Ministry of Jharkhand along with labor extension officers and supervisors, they emphasized the registration of 100 percent workers.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das will launch the campaign from Ranchi on 25th September. The workers of the unorganised sector will be able to see and hear his addresses and instructions live in all the districts and blocks. In the meeting, Barnwal instructed to make complete preparations in time.
He said that if there is any difficulty in this, then resolve it. For better coordination, he directed that all the block labour extension officers should meet with the block coordinators and prepare an action plan.
