After Chief Minister Raghubar Das’ message to connect to him directly on Twitter for any inconvenience caused to people during Shravani Mela a large number of devotees have been tweeting him with their issues.

The State Government and district administration have also been solving their issues promptly acknowledging their problems.

In less than 24 hours of the Chief Minister’s tweet, more than 73 people have replied to it, 223 people have retweeted it and about 900 people have liked the tweet.

The complaints of devotees range from manhandling by policemen at the Baidyanath Dham temple to repair of street lights. Some have hailed the step taken by the Chief Minister, while some have criticised it.

The team attached with Chief Minister’s Twitter handle is promptly working on solving the issues of the people. Deoghar district administration repaired the street lights of an area just few hours after a person tweeted to the Chief Minister, who also replied to a number of devotees, who had either given some suggestions or tweeted their issues.

Notably, Das inaugurated the Shravani Mela at Deoghar on Wednesday appealing everyone to maintain cleanliness and humility. He said, on the occasion that just like Kumbh Mela and Prayagraj, Shravani Mela of Deoghar should become renowned in the world due to its cleanliness and humbleness. He appeled to the people, social and political organisations to play their roles for the purpose.
