Commercial tax minister T. S. Singhdeo on Tuesday expressed concern over the GST related problems faced by the business and industries.
He expressed his concern during interaction of business and industries representatives with departmental officials at new circuit house, Raipur.
The interaction was organised to get the suggestions on GST before the GST council meeting.
The representatives briefed the problems they are facing while filing GST. They gave suggestion to make it easier.
Representatives raised issue of e-way bill mandatory for inter-state transportation; option for rectification of data related errors in filing software, tax related pending legal cases resolution, penalty and delay fees, one slab of GST on dairy products.
CAIT members suggested for input credit under composition scheme.
The minister assured to hold regular quarterly interaction with business and industries representatives on GST.
Singhdeo said businessmen, industrialists and even chartered accountants are facing problems in filing of GST and so such a meeting was called to deliberate on the issue so that a practical solution can be found.
He suggested forming a technical advisory committee with representatives from departmental officials and business community.
