Rainfall and thundery activities in the past 24 hours at several places in the State had made the weather conditions cold and the same pattern would prevail for the next two days. Day temperatures have dipped on Saturday; State Capital recorded day temperature with a dip of 5 degree Celsius in the past 24 hours.
Several places in Jabalpur divisions recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours. Shahdol division recorded significant dip in the temperatures.
The highest amount of rainfall was recorded in Paraswada which recorded 4 cm of rainfall while Malajhkhand recorded 3 cm of rainfall, Amarkantak, Annuppur, Balaghat and Nainpur recorded 2 cm of rainfall.
State Capital recorded night temperature at 11.7 degree Celsius which was dipped by 6 degree Celsius in the past 24 hours. The day temperature was recorded at 24.8 degree Celsius which was 5 degree Celsius lower than the day temperature recorded on Friday.
The State Capital witnessed dark cloudy and cold conditions in the morning and even after clear sky was witnessed cold conditions prevailed and cold conditions became intense by the evening with cold winds. Lowest night temperature was recorded at 8 degree Celsius in Mandla.
According to the forecast Shahdol division and Mandla, Balaghat, Sidhi and Singrauli districts are likely to witness thundery activities in the next 24 hours.
