The Vice president of the Uttarakhand Congress party, Surya Kant Dhasmana, has said that the Uttarakhand Government is giving no respect to the orders of HC on the panchayat elections. He said that the statement of Panchayati Raj Minister on the HC order has created a situation of confusion.
Dhasmana added that the State Government and the Panchayat Raj Directorate have issued no orders to the State Election Commission and District Election Officers regarding the order of Uttarakhand HC. The Congress leader also accused the State Government of violating the Model Code of Conduct in the State.
