Students attend 5-day Scout, Guide Camp

A week of scout camp life is worth six months of theoretical teaching in the Meeting Room and Adventure is not only for fun and entertainment but also for education. By keeping these Inspirational Quotes in mind, 194 Scout boys students of Campion School Arera Colony Bhopal along Vice Principal and Instructors attended five days Scout and Guide Camp at Pachmarhi.

It was organised by the Bharat Scouts and Guides National Training Centre of Pachmarhi. The team is led by Campion School vice Principal Fr Amritlal Toppo SJ, as a Scouter Incharge and Johnsy Koshy as a Camp Leader along with Sanjay Mishra, Vikas Saxena, Vibhore Tiwari, as a Instructor teachers from Campion School in this group camp.

Principal Fr Athnas Lakra SJ, Bursar Fr Ashok and Fr Arvind were also present for one day in this Scout Camp to motivate all the Scout boys’ students. The Scout Camp day began with the hoisting and honour of unfurling the Scout flag by Deputy Director (Guides leader training) of Bharat Scouts and Guides National Training Centre Machamma teacher along with Vice Principal Fr Amritlal Toppo SJ and Johnsy Koshy with March past. On this occasion, Machamma teacher welcoming all the Campion Scouts, Instructors etc said “It is noteworthy that the Scouts and Guides come from different parts of the country and work together as a unit. Besides, camps are held in various parts of the country. This would have helped develop many friendships and, I hope, an appreciation for the wide diversity in our country.”

Upon reaching Pachmarhi the boys were told about the rules and the regulations of the camp.
