Dream of taking inspiration from the innovative ideas, the zeal of doing something, and to take the startup to infinity and beyond with this enthusiasm only, the students of Rabindranath Tagore University took part in a ‘Dream Startup Challenge 2019’ that was organised on Thursday.
This event was organized jointly by Young Indians, CII, ISECT and AIC RNTU. In addition to the expert jury members in their respective fields, the Nodal Officer of MSME, VC Dubey, ICT Group Director Siddharth Chaturvedi and CIII Chairperson Apoorva Malviya were also present in the event.
On this occasion, Siddharth Chaturvedi, Director of ICT Group, said that such events tell us how big the youth of our country is, and how wide their viewpoint is. CIII's chairperson Apoorva Malviya thanked everyone.
A special jury of experts from each field judged the start-ups of their respective fields and then declared the winners. In the jury the co-founder of Aah Venture Abhijit Kumar, Unicorn India's Managing Partner Anil Joshi, Value Finance’s Founding Member Tarun Agarwal, Founder Partners of LLP Professor Garima Seth and Founder of Investor Namesh Singh were also present.
There were 78 applications for the event, 16 of these were shortlisted for the mentoring round, and in the final round, 12 teams competed each other for a winner.
The jury team judged the 12 finalists team on the basis of their presentation and question-answer round.
The founder of Startup Aristi working on cyber security space, Uttarkash Bhargava and his team were the winner. The second prize was given to a startup of Indore that was lead by Abhinav and Siddharth. Their startup is working with Mango auto, AICTSL at the Concept of Auto Rickshaw Smart Station.
