Successful conduct of HTET is first achievement of new Govt: Chautala

Monday, 18 November 2019 | PNS | Chandigarh

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala on Sunday said that the successful conduct of Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) in all the districts is the first achievement of the new Government.

He said that this time, the children did not have to go for exams outside their districts.

There was 100 percent attendance at all examination centers and in one district only three candidates were found absent.  The practice of removing the chain and bangle of the women candidates before entering the examination has also been abolished, Dushyant said while talking to the mediapersons after unveiling the statue of the late Chhotan Devi, in Jat Joshi village, Sonipat.

Dushyant said that the BJP-JJP government in Haryana is very strong and in the coming days, the promises which were made in the manifestos of both parties will also be fulfilled.

He said that the first meeting of the full cabinet will be held on Monday and whether it is the matter of rural development or the matter of taking steps on the ban of liquor, necessary steps will be taken on every issue.

While responding to a question, he targeted former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and said that it is very easy to make allegations but difficult to solve the problem.

He said that the opposition is not fulfilling its responsibility properly.

The people have elected Hooda as an opposition leader, therefore instead of doing politics, he should play the role of strong opposition, Dushyant added.

He also targeted the opposition for raising questions regarding the purchase of paddy.
