In view of the spiralling number of Swine flu cases and death of some patients due to the same in Dehradun, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an advisory to the schools. The advisory has been issued by the regional officer CBSE, Dehradun region, Ranber Singh to the principals of all the CBSE- affiliated schools of the state. In the advisory, the CBSE has asked the schools to spread awareness among the students, parents and teachers about prevention of Swine flu during the assembly and parent- teacher meetings ( PTM). It has also asked the school heads to advise the students to avoid direct exposure with flu- afflicted patients.
